I’m excited to be participating in Paint It Forward Vol. 3, opening Thursday, May 21 from 6–8 PM at CASS Contemporary in Nashville.
Now in its third installment, Paint It Forward has become a signature exhibition centered around community, mentorship, and the idea that creativity grows through connection. Curated by Artistic Director Jake Greatens, this year’s show brings together 22 artists from a wide range of backgrounds and locations.
The exhibition is structured around a meaningful premise: 11 established artists are each paired with an emerging artist, creating a dialogue between experience and new perspective. These intentional pairings highlight both the legacy of established voices and the energy of the next generation, reinforcing the idea of “paying it forward” within the arts.
Artists featured in the exhibition come from Nashville, across the United States, and internationally, making for a dynamic and globally influenced show. Beyond the artwork itself, the event also supports a charitable initiative, with a portion of proceeds benefiting a designated cause—extending the impact of the exhibition beyond the gallery walls.
If you’re in the area, I’d love for you to come out and experience the show in person.
