My Story

Adam Hall is an accomplished contemporary oil painter based in Franklin, TN, known for blending realism and expressionism in his emotive landscapes. With a professional career spanning almost two decades, Adam's artistic journey began in Nashville, TN, while he was touring the world with various bands. His initial lure to start painting the vast landscape was sparked from his time spent in Rwanda Africa. Each of his paintings have a way of drawing the viewer in and perhaps forcing them to feel as if they were actually there. In his most recent body of work, Adam explores the allure of nature and humanity's relationship with it. The scale of each painting gives off this illusion of a direct doorway right into nature. His goal is to transport the viewer into a moment in time, providing space to reflect amidst a chaotic beautiful world. “Because there is such a common thread in most all of us that is drawn to nature, the paintings can quickly connect to the viewer,” Hall says. “ That positive connection is so satisfying to be a part of.” Hall gets his inspiration from a number of locations, including the Pacific Northwest and Tennessee but it seems his strongest inspiration comes from his childhood surroundings and becoming a father. His work has been acquired by museums and exhibited in galleries across the United States. It has also been featured by Netflix, MTV, Warner Music Nashville, Architectural Digest, HGTV, Cover of American Art Collector Magazine, and Fine Art Connoisseur, among others.

Statement: My paintings offer a moment to slow down and reconnect with nature. Through my “Viewer Series” and vast emotive landscapes, I try to create spaces that stir emotion and invite reflection—a quiet pause in the middle of everyday noise.
